Venues generally maintain a traditional ticket-scan lane alongside biometric lanes, and this fallback lane needs realistic staffing since it will absorb a meaningful fraction of arrivals, particularly at venues serving a broad public audience rather than a subscription-based season-ticket base with high app adoption.

Because stadium crowds are members of the general public rather than a controlled workforce, transparency at the point of ticket purchase is important: attendees should be told clearly, before buying a ticket, whether facial recognition entry is mandatory, optional, or only used for a specific fast-lane option.
